On Wednesday evening, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are hosting Kyrie Irving and the Dallas Mavericks in California.
During the first half, James and Irving collided, which resulted in Irving briefly leaving the game.
James attempted to steal a pass that was headed for Irving and inadvertently knocked down his former teammate.
Despite the scary play, Irving returned to the game quickly.
The All-Star point guard came into the evening with averages of 25.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 48.0% from the field and 41.6% from the three-point range in 25 games.
The Mavs are the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 24-17 record in their first 41 games.
They are 6-4 over their last ten games and 11-8 in the 19 games they have played on the road away from Dallas.
Following the Lakers, the Mavs will visit Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors on Friday evening at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
