During Sunday night’s NBA All-Star Game, TNT held an alternate broadcast featuring Draymond Green, Taylor Rooks, and Charles Barkley.
Throughout the game, these three spoke about the players on the court and their positions within the league.
At one point, Barkley once again took aim at Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns.
“No disrespect to Kevin. Kevin’s a follower. He’s not a leader. He’s proven that on all his stops,” Barkley said, according to NBACentral.
Fans of the league are very familiar with Barkley’s opinion of Durant.
This isn’t the first time that the NBA legend has leveled criticism at Durant as he has previously stated that Durant isn’t a natural leader but is instead someone who follows the rest of the team.
The most interesting thing about Barkley’s statements regarding Durant is that they have actually received responses from the Suns player.
Durant has never been one to shy away from pushing back against Barkley or any other critics.
What are the chances he catches wind of this latest statement from Barkley and speaks out against it?
The Suns are currently the fifth team in the Western Conference with a 33-22 record.
They are one of the most competitive teams in their conference but they will have to do more if they wish to reach the Finals.
Whether it’s from Durant, Booker, or someone else, the Suns need more leadership if they wish to reach their next level of greatness.
