Roger Federer visited Steph Curry, head coach Steve Kerr, and the Golden State Warriors at training on Saturday before witnessing the team’s NBA game against the San Antonio Spurs.
The Swiss star embraced the side and smiled for selfies at the Chase Center before making his mark on the floor, shooting a perfect four-out-of-four. Federer has good memories of Curry, having met him at the Rolex Shanghai Masters in 2017.
Federer was at the Chase Center following Thursday’s news that the 18,000-seat stadium would host the seventh edition of the Laver Cup in 2025.
The Chase Center, now home to the NBA’s Golden State Warriors, debuted in 2019 and hosts a range of sporting and entertainment events on the West Coast of the United States. The 2025 Laver Cup will be place from September 19 to 21.
