The Swiss star embraced the side and smiled for selfies at the Chase Center before making his mark on the floor, shooting a perfect four-out-of-four. Federer has good memories of Curry, having met him at the Rolex Shanghai Masters in 2017.

Federer was at the Chase Center following Thursday’s news that the 18,000-seat stadium would host the seventh edition of the Laver Cup in 2025.

The Chase Center, now home to the NBA’s Golden State Warriors, debuted in 2019 and hosts a range of sporting and entertainment events on the West Coast of the United States. The 2025 Laver Cup will be place from September 19 to 21.
