Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown has burned a lot of bridges since forcing a trade from the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2018.

Since his introductory press conference with the Raiders in 2019 – the team he was traded to by Pittsburgh – when he said he was there to “be a surge of energy, of positivity, and good force,” Antonio Brown has created a slew of enemies and detractors.

One of the biggest names in sports to take issue with Brown’s behavior during that time is his former teammate in New England and Tampa Bay, Tom Brady.

Despite Brady being a driving force in Antonio Brown signing with both the Patriots as well as the Buccaneers (with whom Brown won his only Super Bowl) and even letting Brown live in his home in Tampa (and also reportedly made the same offer in New England), AB has done nothing but mock the future Hall of Fame QB since he walked off the field in the middle of a 2022 game.

In an interview with Vlad TV, Antonio Brown tried to explain why he taunted and mocked Brady so much.

When it was brought up how Brown mocked Brady by posting a photo of the book Daddy Doesn’t Live Here Anymore after Tom and Gisele Bundchen broke up, Brown responded, “Yeah, I was a little troll, I think. I turned into a troll, I think.”

Then when asked if he and Brady ever talk now, Brown replied, “We used to talk to a mutual friend, Jeff Sofra. We haven’t talked in a while, I’m sure he was a little upset.

“I used his wife’s picture for some entertainment and some, like you said, I didn’t always do the right thing as a man when I felt emotional, especially the way they left me.

“I did a little bit of immaturity with getting back in regards to trying to make him feel how I felt. You know what I mean? But I’m a man. I admit it.”

Brown was then asked if he ever apologized to Tom Brady for his actions.

“I did it, so it’s hard to do something and apologize,” Brown replied. “It’s hard to apologize., but I just feel like it was immature because it was a human, immature thing. They jacked my baby mama every time, so it is what it is. It was entertainment, you know what I’m saying?

“It wasn’t like it was, you know what I’m saying? It was just, it was just natural humanity, you know? People make you feel bad, you did the right things, you try to make them feel bad back, you know what I’m saying? But I could admit it it was like some petty s—.”

A year ago, last April, Brown claimed the reason he had a falling out with Brady was because Brady didn’t have his back when he was trying to get paid after the Super Bowl year in Tampa.

“My agent Ed Wasielewski is getting called, cursed out by Tom Brady over why is he pushing back for the contract for scraps,” Brown claimed. “Imagine if you heard that, the same guy that brought you in to win a ring, the same agent he told you to hook up with to get the deal, is now telling me, the guy’s calling him, saying, yo, cursing him out about scraps of a contract.”
