‘Confident’ Micah Parsons ridicules the referees for not calling holding calls against him, claims there isn’t another rusher like him in the league

Micah Parsons has registered 13 sacks in the ongoing season so far.

The Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons is certainly one of the best pass rushers in the league right now. He has been consistently wreaking havoc in opposing teams’ backfields ever since he entered the league in 2021. However, Parsons has been constantly complaining that he isn’t being fairly treated by the referees.

During a recent interview ahead of the Cowboys’ week 17 game against the Detroit Lions, the 2-time Pro Bowl linebacker expressed his frustrations with the referees not calling the holding penalties.

I think the refs understand that I’m a good player but they don’t understand the actual plays that I can make with my speed and what I can control.

Furthermore, the Cowboys’ All-Pro linebacker noted that he is the best pass rusher in the league. He said that he can do several things that the other pass rushers can’t do while also claiming he is faster coming off the edge than any other defensive lineman in the league.

To be honest, and in the most humble way ever, I don’t think there’s another rusher like me in the league. I don’t think there is a rusher that wins as quick as I do.
There’s not another rusher that does the things that I do. That’s on tape.
Parsons claimed

Indeed, Parsons is not getting any holding calls, but he is not the only one who is a victim of the missed calls. The offensive linemen have been getting away with a lot of holding calls throughout the season. Many pass rushers, including Parsons, T.J. Watt, and Myles Garrett, are all victims of the blatant missed holding penalties.

Micah Parsons set to receive 3rd All-Pro nod in 3 years

The Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons has been a great asset for his team’s defensive unit. As a result, he could be named to the first-team All-Pro squad for the third consecutive year.

In the 2023 NFL season, Parsons has registered 13.0 sacks and is just 1 sack away from registering his career-best campaign. He also leads the league in pressures and has 3rd highest quarterback hits in the ongoing season.

There’s a slight possibility he could also win his first Defensive Player of the Year award in the ongoing season if he can finish his campaign with back-to-back solid outings.

As for the Dallas-based football team, they would be focused on winning out the remaining games, starting with the Detroit Lions, whom they are scheduled to face in their Week 17 game.
