Anthony Davis’ efforts for the Los Angeles Lakers in the game against the Milwaukee Bucks have increased the Lakers’ winning streak to four games. In a thrilling double-overtime game, AD scored 34 points and pulled down 23 rebounds while being guarded by “the Greek Freak,” helping the Bucks win at home. Shaquille O’Neal was impressed by the gameplay of AD and praised him for telling stories about his parents.
Shaquille O’Neal, who is commonly known as “The Big Diesel,” praised Anthony Davis during a recent NBA podcast on TNT. He complimented Davis’ gameplay while reminding him of a story about his parents.
“He knows how I feel about him… His mother and father came up to me and said, ‘We want you to stay on our boy,’ because I know what he’s capable of,” Shaq said.
In addition to that, Shaq further said that he admired Anthony Davis’ talent during his early years in the NBA. Shaq also praised Davis’ efforts for the Lakers during the last few games.
“When he was with New Orleans and the numbers he was putting up, that’s when it was a new flash for me, like this guy can do this every night. Sometimes he’s up, sometimes he’s down… Like he said, they are in a dogfight. When we put a guy like that in a dogfight, he’s going to perform just like that.”
Anthony Davis has a good stats so far this season
The Big Daddy has already criticised Davis multiple times in the past, but that didn’t affect Anthony Davis; perhaps it motivated him to play better.
“AD is not a big man; he’s a power forward. Don’t do that,” Shaq said.

Davis has had a great career, including three block titles, an NBA championship, and four nominations to the All-Defensive team. Moreover, Davis has produced a lot this season. AD has good stats for this season. According to the NBA website, he averages 24.7 points, 3.6 assists, 12.6 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game.
