So the world is shocked that she’s been accused of fat shaming the dancers on her team. With each report, the word about Lizzo is increasingly worse. Now, she is being accused of firing a dancer for gaining weight.
Lizzo, a few years ago, went viral for having a breakdown on social media. When she was on IG Live, she completely fell apart. The reason was because she released her single to much success. With Cardi B featured, the song reached the top ten on Billboard Hot 100. However, Lizzo got upset because some of the people in the comments were mocking her weight.
Lizzo has dancers suing her for a myriad of reasons. Among the reasons is fat shaming, which is shocking given Lizzo’s own image. One dancer is suing, because when she gained weight, Lizzo pointed out how she fires dancers for gaining weight. When the dancer explained that she has an eating disorder, Lizzo ultimately fired her.
