It happened when recently a fan took Durant on a trip down the memory lane with a wholesome post from the OKC times. In response to the post, KD acknowledged the fan with a two-word response.
The Phoenix Suns superstar has always been known for interacting with the fans via social media. While most of the times he would take down a hate comment with fiery response, this time he responded to a wholesome post. In fact, it made the 6 ’11 reminisce about his time in the Oklahoma City Thunder colors.
Kevin Durant acknowledges a fan’s wholesome post
It hasn’t been the greatest times to be an Oklahoma State University sports fan. Especially for its basketball team, Cowboys. They are currently in the 14th seed with an 8-9 record. And, their recent loss against Kevin Durant‘s alma mater, Texas Longhorns, caught the superstar’s attention.
A video of Cowboys players’ handshake with the Longhorns players featured on X handle. In response to that video, KD said, “I know it’s miserable being a Oklahoma state fan.” However, the story didn’t end there, as Brandon Rahbar, a reporter, further stretched it by reminding Durant of a wholesome memory
Rahbar, replying to Durant’s post, shared an old video clip of the superstar, taking the Oklahoma State students to Stillwater to play flag football. A few hours after he shared the message, Slimreaper acknowledged him with two words, saying, “Great Times.”
Durant spent 7 seasons with the Oklahoma side, until he made the decision to move to the bay side. More than the shock it created, it ignited a lot of hate from the Oklahoma fans.

At the same time, OKC fans were fuming over him. He engaged in responding to the fans’ hate comments on social media. During one such instance, a fans called KD, a clown. He responded, saying, “Here’s that clout u ordered. Enjoy.” Similarly, he has tacked many such angry OKC fans.
