The Golden State Warriors have one of the most notable rosters in the league that features future Hall of Famers such as Steph Curry, Chris Paul, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.
Despite winning four NBA Championships since 2015, the Warriors have looked extremely vulnerable this season and aren’t currently in the playoff picture.
With the trading deadline weeks away, rumors around the league continue to swirl.
On Tuesday, Basketball Hall of Famer Magic Johnson sent out a post on X, naming some of the teams in the Western Conference that he thinks need to make a move.
Johnson wrote: “Looking at the Western Conference, I think the World Champion Nuggets, the Clippers, the Timberwolves, and the Thunder don’t need a trade. The Lakers, the Pelicans, the Suns, the Mavericks, the Warriors and the Kings definitely need to make some trades before the deadline!”
The Warriors aren’t the only team that the five-time NBA Champion mentioned, but it’s still noteworthy.
He did not specify who he thinks they should trade, but any move that would improve the roster would feature one of their best players (Andrew Wiggins, Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody are also players that would come to mind).
Right now, the Warriors are the 12th seed in the Western Conference with an 18-22 record in their first 40 games.
They are 3-7 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a two-game losing streak.
On Wednesday evening, the Warriors will host the Atlanta Hawks at the Chase Center.
