“Iron Shаrpens Iron”: Devіn Booker Deѕcribeѕ Kevіn Durаnt Pаrtnership іn the Beѕt Wаy Poѕѕible

Devin Booker helped the Phoenix Suns pull off an incredible win against the Eastern Conference’s third-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers. The Suns held it together pretty tightly to secure a 2-0 season series record against the Cavs. Booker’s partnership with Kevin Durant was responsible for the outcome as they scored 72 points. This was one of many occasions that the pair scored at least 30 points each.

Following the game, Booker complimented the work KD has put in for the Suns. He said, “That’s my favorite player, you know. So, iron sharpens iron. To be alongside him every game and obviously, he causes a lot of attention that opens up a lot of great looks for everybody on the team.” The 27-year-old is aware of how important the Suns’ final six games are. They will determine the season’s outcome or if their playoff dreams are met.

Devin Booker claims the Suns are playoff-ready

For a good amount of games, the Suns showed a lot of struggle during the initial part of the season. Bradley Beal was in and out of the lineup due to a back injury. Devin Booker missed a few games due to an ankle ailment that eventually affected the Suns’ run. They have achieved a fairly decent 45-31 record. Following their latest win, Phoenix moved up to the sixth seed. Booker claims they are as ready as can be for the post-season.

“I say credit to the NBA. They did their thing with the Play-In Tournament. These games are playoff games, so you know we’re trying to get these wins and stay in the top six to have to avoid those single-elimination games. So, we’re ready to go though. Energy is high,” Booker added. Since the start of the season, the Suns have been considered a major playoff threat. A healthy Big 3 has proven to be lethal at times as well.

Can Devin Booker and the Suns avoid the Play-In Tournament?

Right now, Devin Booker and the Suns rank sixth in the West but aren’t out of danger. Despite pushing past the New Orleans Pelicans to assume the sixth seed they are tied with the same record. Phoenix has six games left in the regular season but sadly, all of them are against tough contenders. But yes, they do have a chance to clinch a playoff berth.

The Suns are half a game behind the Dallas Mavericks, who currently own the fifth seed in the West. They have the potential and power to get past all four teams they’re scheduled to meet soon. Phoenix is scheduled to play against the Pelicans at home on April 10. After that, they will head to California to play against Los Angeles and Sacramento before heading over to Minnesota.
