NBA YoungBoy doesn’t want his son to follow in his grandad floyd mayweather’s footsteps

In a leaked clip shared by The Neighborhood Talk, the interviewer –who sounds a lot like Akademiks – asks YoungBoy if he wants his son to grow up to be a famous boxer just like his granddaddy.

“Change the subject gangsta,” YoungBoy replies, before saying, “He going to be a UFC Fighter.”

Floyd Mayweather had previously spoken about his relationship with YoungBoy last February, who has a baby boy with his daughter Yaya Mayweather, and said he was proud of the Baton Rouge rhymer.

“I’m proud of [YoungBoy Never Broke Again], a very, very talented young kid,” Floyd said. “One of the biggest artists as far as in music. He’s got a cult-like following. I look at him just like one of my sons. I only want the best for him.”

He continued, “I feel like NBA YoungBoy went away for a while — I like to say went to college for a little bit — he’s back and I’m proud of him. I’m proud of my daughter. And I only want the best for NBA YoungBoy. I’m going to continue to push him and push her for both of them to be great.”

If the interviewer in question does turn out to be Ak, it would be the first time the pair have sat down together since the pair butted heads back in May after the vlogger claimed Lil Durk and YoungBoy’s longtime beef had finally come to a ceasefire.

“That beef is squashed. You ain’t hear?” the Off the Record podcast host said during a conversation with another streamer. “I’m serious. Durk and YoungBoy don’t have beef no more.”

“Ak you a bitch along with his industry friends I love this shit it turn out the same way every time,” YoungBoy wrote from his @BAEHELPTOP handle. “Ak a fat hoe.”

Akademiks soon after backtracked on his original comments, clarifying in an Instagram comment that he simply meant Durk and YoungBoy aren’t “actively dissing each other” anymore.

“Lol I ain’t say that,” he wrote. “I mean they ain’t actively dissing each other no more in music and tweets anything y’all see is more than likely directed at other ppl instead of each other.”
